Both IRS-recognized nonprofit organizations are using the Education Edition of Google Apps, which offer more features, support and storage space than the Free edition. In both cases, I only had to fill out a simple form providing the organizations’ Tax ID number to verify its nonprofit status. With good reason.

I also mentioned my plan to use the iPad instead of a desktop computer for pretty much everything that isn’t work-related (and a few things that are). Then you can sync the photos back to the device nicely organized with a fresh slate in the camera roll. Organizing the camera roll without a computer is a mess.

Convio Common Ground already has a rather nice campaign segmentation tool which does this kind of “Show me everyone who is in Campaign A but not in Campaign B” type work quite nicely. Nice touch, and works exactly as you would expect in the pre-release org. This is a huge thing for nonprofits.

It's fast, stable and I just get more done when I'm working in it. Not being able to organize/sync bookmarks was a bit of a deal breaker. I've been so waiting for this. I really like Chrome. It's been my default on the Windows side of my Mac for some time. I know Chromium has had extensions for a while.
