Not being able to organize/sync bookmarks was a bit of a deal breaker. When I want to spend more time in Twitter, I'll log in to Hootsuite. I long gave up on desktop Twitter apps because they took up too much precious RAM. With Chrome taking less room in RAM, everything seems to run faster.

I've been whining about this in Twitter a bit. There is no bird's eye view for an organization. I'm annoyed by tools that ask for "status updates" a la Twitter as a feature. We already have Twitter, Facebook and now Salesforce Chatter. People in charge of the organization can look across all projects. Basecamp. .

The organization I helped found as Colorectal Cancer Coalition in 2005 officially became Fight Colorectal Cancer on Monday, March 6, 2011. However, a small organization with a small budget can make some pretty big changes. She really understood the organizations. Absolutely positively not! Why did we do this? She got it.

Over simplified, think of LinkedIn meets Facebook meets Yammer meets Twitter. In short from where I’m sitting, it’s realtime business conversation and collaboration within and around Salesforce. I want to be as excited about it as some of my friends are. I’m not there yet.

Turns out my staff was too busy tweeting to listen to me talk about Twitter anymore. We are the organization that is all about action. They’ll choose among the top 10 vote getters. We want this.

It was always a struggle before differentiating when a gift was from an organization or entity, and when it was from a single person. Ask Salesforce to increase API limits: Anyone who was ever locked out of Twitter from a desktop client can relate to this one. Now it’s much easier. Never had a problem again.

Last year, we organized a one-day Congressional Butt-in phone blitz that generated nearly 2,000 calls to Congress, many of which resulted in additional co-sponsors to last year’s version of the bill. This is addition to all the promotion we’re already doing through our blogs, email, our print newsletter, postcards, and Twitter.
