Don't get me wrong, I think it's great for other organizations. Think about what you love about Twitter or Facebook, and it's mostly all here. Imagine if you follow a celebrity on Twitter and your feed contains every @mention sent about him/her. Folks who care about us also care about 1000 other things and other organizations.

When did our Senate move to Asia?

It's just the real senate.gov site in an iframe (loaded on a Mac after logging out of Facebook and Twitter, of course): More fun to take a look at the who.is - Registered by a Turkish registrar and name server in Hong Kong. I guess the idea is to get unsuspecting organizations to actually make the change, and then switch for spam/ad site?

What Google+ users can learn from nonprofits

Sure they have tweaks in technology to work through to make stream organization and circle management more intuitive. Established social sharing model (blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, etc.): The bottom line allows the organization to serve more. Effective nonprofits know it’s not about them.

The organization I helped found as Colorectal Cancer Coalition in 2005 officially became Fight Colorectal Cancer on Monday, March 6, 2011. However, a small organization with a small budget can make some pretty big changes. She really understood the organizations. Absolutely positively not! Why did we do this? She got it.

If Google+ was a comfy couch at a conference…

I don’t see any value there over Facebook or Twitter or here on my blog. There are lots of organized networking opportunities. For it to work for me, Google+ has to be less about broadcasting updates than it is about sharing with personal connections. I hope it stays that way. More intimate.
