Before, there were some high-activity listservs and sites with patterns to download. I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle. When I fell “asleep,” knitting was a different world. Now there’s so much for knitters online, it’s hard to grasp it all. Now, there’s podcasts, blogs and knitting social networks. There’s a waiting list to get in.

We have a couple of email listservs on Google Groups of our top-tier advocates that we've been interested in migrating to an online community. From time to time I will pull up a user profile to monitor what folks are doing in Salesforce since I have feeds turned on for Accounts and Opportunities, but that's about it.

Join NPSF Bit of a shameless plug as I've been co-moderator of the Nonprofit Salesforce Practitioners listserv for a couple of years now. Pay special attention to the free and discounted for nonprofits sections. As of this moment there are 1134 members representing nonprofits, consultants, vendors - even a few Salesforce.com employees.
