It seems obvious that there should be a tool we can use to help us here. I've been whining about this in Twitter a bit. I'm annoyed by tools that ask for "status updates" a la Twitter as a feature. We already have Twitter, Facebook and now Salesforce Chatter. Yet working this way, we miss that "big picture" overview. .

The organization I helped found as Colorectal Cancer Coalition in 2005 officially became Fight Colorectal Cancer on Monday, March 6, 2011. After weighing all the options, and with a little help from some friends , we’ve decided to purchase Convio’s Common Ground. They took a chance on us and helped us work out an arrangement so we could afford their service and get the most value out of it. I feel good about our decision. We’re living proof.

I feel like I can type much faster than on the iPhone, although it might be the increased screen real estate which helps. Twitter , Evernote , Mint , Dropbox , Audible , Kindle (with link to Kindle Store, thankyouverymuch), Pandora , WordPress , TripIt , Box.net , etc. The larger screen helps too. It was only $2.99

The folks in the forums are the most helpful and friendly as I’ve seen on any site. If you have a Twitter account you can easily connect it to Ravelry so you can target tweets for your Ravelry profile. The site was built by knitters who understand what knitters think and want. It’s all there.

I'll search Twitter. But sometimes, you just need someone who can log in as a super user on your account and figure out why you are having a unique issue and help fix it. She helped me set SuperDuper to not try and backup Carbonite, and Carbonite to not backup SuperDuper. Often infuriating. Search support forums.

Turns out my staff was too busy tweeting to listen to me talk about Twitter anymore. We sprung into action, using our small existing Twitter and Facebook networks to spread the word. We want this.

Occasionally you may be lucky to find your issue among the “known&# ones listed in Google’s Help Center. When you rely on Google, you are also relying on the wisdom of the masses to help guide you. Can’t check email and you run to Twitter search to confirm that others are having the same problem.
