So if the donor comes back in the future and makes another donation using the same information that’s not on the contact record, Click & Pledge will auto-match the contact without having to have this intermediate step.

Introducing Apsona batch gift entry for the Nonprofit Starter Pack

The interface is clunky and it doesn’t proactively allow you to create donor records on the fly or apply payments to an existing opportunity record. You have to match those gifts to existing donors or create new ones if they don’t exist. It was released in 2011 and hasn’t appeared to get a lot of love since.

Our strategy: We want to send new non-donor contacts a series of 3 short emails. Donor Status: Lifetime Hard Credit Count (a Convio Common Ground field) = null covers that since the communication wasn't aimed at donors. We have a lot of information on our website that may be harder for a new visitor to find.
