It's time to go beyond listening and responding and get into several key areas: monitoring , running bold campaigns , adding video , and fundraising in online social networks. We used this technique for DIGG, forums, Twitter, Bing, and Google and then set up various searches along with monitoring of certain Twitter feeds. Amazonfail ?

Digg is a website that supports and cultivates “the people’s choice” from the ground up. Here’s how it works: Users (free to join) submit websites, blog posts, videos, etc. to Digg that they think are awesome. You may have seen a symbol at the bottom of some news articles or blog posts on the web, enabling you to “digg this.”

The site raised strong reactions from Digg users , who were almost universally opposed and had angry words (many of them misspelled) for the site’s creator. 05/26/2010: Don’t forget your content 05/24/2010: IE6 Is Dead. We need to recalaculate the cost benefits because of the intensity of news cycles and now the perminate and intense flow of video on youtube and the spikes created by digg and other such sites (drudge or Kos can move 100,000+ hits). The YouTube views on Coulter attack on Edwards has 669,061 viewers as of March 5.

But the companies that run YouTube, Flickr, and other major Web 2.0 The same is true on YouTube, and on sites like Facebook, which are "walled gardens," you can't even easily export your user-generated content (friends, events, updates) outside of Facebook itself.
