I got two dozen of these this morning, which may be some kind of record. This site says they’re malware delivery devices, so do not click on them!

I just got mine on December 26. Thanks for verifying what I already thought. These people should really think about getting someone who can speak the English language correctly, to write their subject line.

Interestingly enough, the poor command of the English language is not what raised my eyebrows. It was the assertion that Citibank would be sending billing statements to an Amex account-holder whose name is my e-mail address.

I received the “Renewed eBill from Verizon” phishing email on 12/26/12. Mine had a due date of [sic] “28/22/2012” and that I owed $7,510.20 with links to logon to my Citibank account.. Really funny as the quality of the email was so bad, I am NOT a Verizon Customer, and I am NOT a Citibank customer. I was going to send it to Verizon, but looks like its probably been reported.

I received one this a.m. from citibankonline@customercenter.citibank.com indicating my Verizon bill is due and is $4,684.19. I have a new Verizon account so I wondered…and then, ‘nah’. Spam.
