A member of the PRSPCT-L listserve (for prospect researchers) asked "What do other institutions do to regulate or “police” data entry work, specifically when you have multiple users with authority to make updates?". You don’t need a week of training to enter a contact report. It's a tough problem. You need clear data entry standards.

3) Find resources to build your skills, and give them time every week: webinars, listservs, online classes, books, etc. push for a single point of contact with clients. If they can’t designate a single point of contact and commit to meetings with you, they may not be ready to work with you. Attend conferences.
