Although it was October, the weather was even nicer than California. The particular issue that concerns Hiroshi right now is the Second Life problem, 3D avatar immersive environments. To some disability groups, Second Life is wonderful. Of course, Second Life is completely inaccessible to blind people right now.

Second Life isnt just about wasting time, however, nor are its "residents" exclusively teens hunkered down in their parents basements with Hot Pockets and Red Bulls - there may be real marketing potential for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. million total (500,000 active monthly) residents of Second Life.

Second Life kiva.org volunteer: Julles Boucher Kiva.org , a micro-finance organization, has funded nearly 17,0000 loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries and last week crossed the $11 million rank. discovered this when I clicked on Skeeboo Tammas's profile while chatting with him in Second Life. His profile said.

If Second Life is an aggregation of individual experiences upon a shared platform,then Doppelganger could be considered a community of indvidualspersonalizing a shared experience.
