I'm exploring some different co-ownership ideas or options with different friends, because I definitely don't want to do it alone, and in California, nobody can afford the land. Two, social equity is becoming very important to me, the whole class structure about how some people have access to the food, and some people don't. do book.

Most of the participants are between the ages of 17-25, working class and youth of color. While at the event she met a young woman who was the lead organizer of a youth coalition to save the peaks and low and behold, even though Art in Action camp is only 5-years-old, and takes place in California, this woman had gone to Art in Action camp.

They grow food themselves that they can eat and share, and it's part of the Science and the PE classes so they are learning about environmental science. So there is a green wave going to be coming through California and what we want to do is make sure that it also hits the Oakland area and, in addition, that the people who benefit from this green economy are the people who need those jobs the most. looked on Craigslist to find a ride back home to California, where I grew up, and found a post for a woman with a CODEPINK truck who was offering her truck as a moving service to help fund her trip from California, and her activist work. Today, March 8th, is International Women's Day. March 20th is the 4th anniversary of the Iraq War.
