Now eight months later, with the exception of Facebook, Twitter and Pandora, I rarely use Apps on my iPhone anymore. For those 5-10 nonprofits that are my personal favorites, I would definitely download their Apps (if they were free) and use them when I have a moment to spare while I am out and about. Believe it or not, Facebook Mobile is now growing faster than Facebook Desktop!
When I bought my first iPhone in June 2009 I was absolutely blown away. Love my iPhone.

Create a presence for a business, brand or non-profit on Facebook ( Facebook Pages ).
The same question came up a couple of times during the Philanthropy.com chat that Chris Garrett and I conducted back in February.

S mall businesses and non-profits that have a Facebook page can leverage the Notes application to drive web traffic to their sites. Facebook currently lets Profile users import one RSS feed from a blog into their Facebook wall using the Notes application.
You must have at least a small group of raving fans on Facebook. Here’s why this is powerful:
If you have 30 fans who each have 100 friends, your blog post will be seen by as many as 3,000 people.

common mistake is to assume that because a person is “young” and has been using Facebook for years to stay in touch with friends and family, then they must be good at using social media for branding an organization. What websites were your visitors on right before they visited your site [Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace]? Last week a study came out that said small to medium sized nonprofits were not gaining much from using social media. I

Compared to these other sites, LinkedIn is just an online Rolodex, while Facebook and sites like it make it easy for But I felt I really ought to give it a test-drive, now that I see so many people urging non-profits to look into it.
