Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg fired up the death of email debate at the Nielsen’s Consumer 360 Conference Yesterday. Interestingly, despite all the protests against Facebook’s privacy policy she also said that people entrust their personal info with social networks. And what happened to MySpace?

Even when I wasn’t at home at my desk, I was on my iPhone updating Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. The good news is that I have found using Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. Pick one social networking profile and keep it entirely for fun and your personal life. common mistake is to assume that because a person is “young and has been using Facebook for years to stay in touch with friends and family, then they must be good at using social media for branding an organization. month ago I launched a Facebook Page called Accomplishments of President Barack Obama. have run a lot of online communities over the last 10 years, but never one as challenging as the Accomplishments of President Barack Obama Facebook Page. Giving such a person their freedom of hate speech will ruin it for the rest of your community.

E very time I leave my MySpace Page to go over to Facebook, I see the power that questions can have on a business strategy and even one’s outlook on life. At ElggCamp Boston 2009 , I was able to see the need for the "Social Networking Platform" Speakers made it very clear that Elgg was not for the person that needed to put up a generic social network to link people together. Facebook , LinkedIn , MySpace , and Twitter do that just fine. The topic of discussion was Elgg.

Last week, I spoke with Jim Richardson, managing director of SUMO Design , about their very cool new project with the North East Regional Museums Hub : I like. museums. Funded by the UK MLA and launched on July 9, i like. museums is a website on which visitors can search for museums in the North East region of England. There are trails like i like.
