Firestone grew up on a small farm in Vermont, and has always been interested in agriculture. Alas, Fan, a high-school senior, had to depart in July to attend summer classes at Stanford. Two or three times a year, I publish a president's update for Benetech. When he was 22, Craig launched a company to help partially sighted children.

It is a very small liberal arts college in Vermont, where everyone knows everyone's name. I've been an educator for pretty much all of my adult life (even at Bennington, I was a tutor, and taught some classes in technology.) Michelle Murrain, Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology Blog.
