As the Program Coordinator at NTEN -- the one trying to wrestle everyone and everything together to bring you the NTC -- it's fitting that I evaluate the program side.
Before you haven't already, please respond to the evaluation request we emailed out, or leave a comment on how we can create better programs in Atlanta, April 8-10, 2010.

As I wrote this post on the flight back from my third NTEN Conference I know I felt similar to many of the other 1,600 “NPTechies” (Nonprofit Techies) who are leaving San Francisco. Good feelings and Facebook friends will not solely allow an organization to fulfill its goals or balance a budget, but in a time when technology staffs are particularly stressed, the NTEN Conference allows many of us an invaluable opportunity to recharge our spirits. Our brains our packed with ideas and inspiration for how to do our jobs better, our social networks are a little richer because of the new relationships we have forged, and our hearts are full with the comradeship of being with so many people that share our passion and perspective for the role of technology in work promoting the social good.

NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network, puts on a massive, be-there-or-be-square conference for nonprofit professionals every year (in 2009, we met in San Francisco). The NTEN community co-authored a book and is planning an online conference for this Fall drawing on the contributors to move from writing to speaking. Here’s what NTEN says:
