Particularly the tagging discussion which included an action learning exercise as well as lot of sharing of resources and information about tagging. But the fruits of my labor has gotten so much richer with the integration of social networking tools, particularly social bookmarking services. I've added wandering through delicious. Look at the bookmarks of folks who first tagged an item that is popular. I used to just google it, but not any longer. The first was Steve.

Future of Tagging ??? with Joshua Schachter, founder of delicious, with David Weinberger , Berkman Fellow, who moderated. You might tag it with ???read_later,??? so those tags work well for you, but not necessarily the social system. You can assume, however, that someone will tag the item for how the group does it.???

Spring cleaning definitely applies to your Google Alerts! Delicious / Bookmarks. Check in on your tags and see if there isn’t any cleaning you can do! If you use Delicious , the social bookmarking tool, you can view all of your tags and how many items have been bookmarked to each of them.
