One such platform was Typepad. Typepad is a paid service based on Movable Type , a very popular blogging platform, that is proprietary. Add a few important plugins, and I’m back to where I was just a few days ago on Typepad. This migration, unlike the Mac OS -> Ubuntu migration, has been completely painless.

Movable Type goes Open Source

Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology

A ways back, Six Apart promised that it would open source MovableType , their flagship software product, and the software that underlies their TypePad service. This blog (and my personal blog ) were on TypePad for years, and I rather like the MoveableType interface and feature set. Yesterday, they finally released it.

How can you stream and RSS as headline links down your sidebar in blogger? I know how to do this in typepad, but not blogger. If you want to have a stream a RSS feed as headlines on your side bar in blogger, after you create the javascript, where do you put in the template? Since questions are your best teachers.
