The Giving USA Foundation and its research partner, the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University , has released Giving USA 2012: The Annual Report on Philanthropy for the year 2011. It is worth noting that The Blackbaud Index of Charitable Giving estimated that giving was up 4.2% in 2011 from 2010 to $298.42 billion in 2011.
