Once we learned all flights were grounded, we quickly arrived at the decision to abandon our plans and drive back to Austin at once. was also surprised that El Paso, TX is only the half-way point between LA and Austin. And, so quickly, ways to help. Neighbors and co-workers covering for each other, helping everyone cope.

So as you may of heard the Austin Film Society has a new tenant in the studios they run.  The truth behind all the lies is that the Austin Film Society is growing and bringing new business to Austin is an important part of that. So how can you help Austin’s future? And people are not happy.

If you have visited Austin, Texas you may recall that we love to talk about Austin. The first session I attended at SXSW Interactive was 'Why Austin is the Killer App' moderated by Heather McKissick and Bijoy Goswami the founders of Austin Equation. What sorts of activities help facilitate a sense of community?
I helped coin the term Social Media for Social Good awhile back and this weekend I am making it happen again. Starting at 4pm today they will drive us to downtown Austin and drop us off. opening night pre-screening here in Austin and was blown away by the powerful videos shared by the four nonprofit organizations screening their video entries. This festival is the first of its kind in the nation and reflects the spirit of Austin, a city with prominent non-profit, grassroots and activism communities. Camera. Lights.
But, instead, I would like to take this opportunity to highlight an Austin-area organization that is making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
