Just in time for tax filing season in the U.S., a phishing message purporting to come from Intuit. Intuit's security center lists lots of these, but not the two I got this week. Sender: INTUIT INC. This is a national competition to encourage people to use their personal and social networks to help win cash for their favorite nonprofit. The Giving Challenge is not focused on how much money you can raise, but on how successful you are at getting people to donate to your cause. | ROBERT WEINER MARCH 27, 2009 New Survey: America’s Nonprofits in Danger The Nonprofit Finance Fund just published a survey on how the economic downturn is affecting nonprofits’ current and long-term finances. Their conclusions are scary. According to the executive summary, Only 12% expect to operate above break-even this year.
