LinkedIn LinkedIn is a professional social network, so it's ripe with job search opportunities. Search for event listings on Meetup , Upcoming , Idealist , Craigslist , Facebook , and Eventful.

I advise using Google Analytics to determine the browsers and devices visitors are using to view their site, make donations, or read newsletters. As they decide to get more involved, give a donation, or sign-up for a newsletter, the options to do so are there for them. Devices like Alexa have changed the way people shop.

There is an even bigger problem for companies such as comScore , Nielson/NetRatings and Alexa that are trying to tell us how many people went to a site when they don’t even have access to the server logs. For example, my Google home page has RSS feeds from many different news and blog sources.
