Why Cause Camp is Right for You (And Everyone Else)

Cause Camp is different from your run-of-the-mill conference, but you already know that. What you might not know is what makes it so different, and why Cause Camp is a conference for everyone, whether you work for a nonprofit or not.

It’s super affordable

We don’t want to run you dry with Cause Camp’s registration fee. The full two days costs just $499, and if you can’t make it in person, an online stream is available for just $99 (you’ll be able to access the online presentations until the end of April, too!). If you purchase two or more tickets, the price drops to $299 per ticket. We pride ourselves on being among the most affordable conferences in the country because we don’t think a premium experience should have a premium price tag. Scholarships are available.

What you learn is widely applicable

A lot of conferences around the country hone in on specific topics, like fundraising, or technology, or marketing—but not Cause Camp. Cause Camp is all about thinking differently about our work and our impact. What you learn at our conference can be applied to whatever you do, whether you’re a marketer, fundraiser, director or something else entirely. At the end of the day on March 26, you’ll have the tools needed to #CauseTheChange in your community.

Equal parts work and play

Conferences are for learning and networking, but, as they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. To keep things light, Cause Camp hosts a social hour at the end of each day for attendees to talk, mingle and enjoy an adult beverage or two. There’s also a pre-party for those arriving a day early, as well as activities during each lunch hour to take a break from the action.

Location, location, location

Every year, Cause Camp takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska—right smack-dab in the middle of America. Lincoln is big enough to feel like a bustling city, yet small enough to provide the tight-knit feeling that so many people know and love. We encourage all Cause Camp attendees to explore what Lincoln has to offer after each day’s programming (don’t worry, we’ll give you recommendations).

Cause Camp is a conference unlike any other, and we want you to be a part of it. If you’re on the fence, I hope you decide to give it a shot, just like so many others have. For more information, visit www.cause.camp or follow @causecamp on Twitter.
