You may need a little help from your web administrator, but many online fundraising tools provide pre-made widgets or badges that you can use.

The platform for the site is Convio CMS , and one of the reasons CDF chose Convio CMS was its integration with Convio's Online Marketing suite of tools. And the proof of the pudding is in the eating - since the new site was launched on March, 2009: overall site visits from 2008 to 2009 increased by 12%.

I've found the survey tool quite useful for Pathfinder's online work, whether for building our 'Contact Us' section of the website, or establishing RSVPs for events. I'm also a fan of the email tools. JAF: We did our first online matching gift campaign, ' Two Months, Twice the Difference ,' in 2009 with a goal of reaching $25,000.

We adopted Convio Common Ground for better integration with fundraising and email marketing in 2009. As easy as it is to get around Common Ground, Salesforce can be an extremely complex tool. Our organization, Fight Colorectal Cancer , started using Salesforce as our primary database in 2006, when we were barely a year old. Never fear.

One of my favorite tools for monitoring a hashtag at a live event is: tweetchat.com. Finally, don’t forget to check out the Past Session Materials from 2009, 2008, and 2007. At the end of each day or just after the NTC has wrapped up, be sure to go back a browse the hash tag again. Tons of resources that are still very relevant.

This according to The North American Technographics® Omnibus Online Survey, Q4 2009 (US), a commissioned omnibus survey conducted by Forrester’s Technographics® on behalf of Convio.
