2009 is going to be an interesting year. This year, I think the watch word for smaller nonprofits will be: segmentation. The larger nonprofits seem to have it down pat. It has always bothered me that nonprofits are measured in dollars and cents, and that we’re all lumped into the same pot. Tags: Nonprofit.

I left Web Worker Daily in 2009 in no small part because I was bored out of my mind with the content I was producing/editing. Sure they have tweaks in technology to work through to make stream organization and circle management more intuitive. Effective nonprofits know it’s not about them. See what’s happening there?

Moving on to my next adventure

Finally, as much as I loved the experience of starting a nonprofit from nearly scratch, my passion is moving me in a different direction. I love nonprofit technology. I love figuring out how to get data in and out of systems and designing technical workflows to meet a nonprofit’s business needs and grow their mission.
