A new study by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Center for Marketing Research also found that 97% of large charities have a Facebook page as of 2009. 65% had blogs. The study found that charities adopted social media faster and the adoption was more widespread than for-profit use. 36% had LinkedIn pages. 30% had MySpace pages.

At the Arc of the US Convention in Albuquerque in 2009 you could count them on one hand. Tags: Education and Training blog ISP tweet Verizon. First, I want to acknowledge that there are now 83 Arc-related groups on Twitter. That’s impressive adoption of this emerging technology in the past 16 months. Do you have similar stories?
