I was recently asked to do a quick summary of this post by Guy Kawasaki, "Looking for Mr GoodTweet: How to Pick Up Followers on Twitter" which has been doing the rounds. Eventually, this will become too much to deal with and you can choose to follow only people whose Twitter profiles show that they are relevant to you. My take?

Tweetsgiving was one of the first Twitter campaigns designed to raise money. Built around Thanksgiving, the idea was for Twitterers to tweet (post) something they are grateful for, and at the same time post a link to Tweetsgiving where a donation could be made to build a classroom in Tanzania. The goal was $10,000. Not bad!

I've seen first hand how you can leverage your Twitter network to raise money for a good cause really fast. It's time update the history of fundraising on Twitter post I wrote that last month after the Tweetsgiving campaign raised $10,000 in 48 hours. The Salvation Army has also launched a Kettle Campaign on Twitter.

Twitter is an incredibly useful tool but it's easy to miss out, if you don't follow people who can give you whatever insight you are looking for. Attended a fab webinar on Twitter today, presented by Hubspot. stylee, we followed the conversation and posted questions via Twitter search , and they have kindly shared the presentation which I am reposting below. This was a good 101 introduction to Twitter, so many of us were left really wanting some more advanced 201 learning.
