I finally got to meet folks from the Nonprofit Salesforce NPSF Google group that I had gotten to know online, reconnected with friends from the Philadelphia and New York user group communities and with people I met at NTEN’s NTC last year. 200 people maybe? I always had someone to talk to and socialize with.

Guess that one slipped through in 2008. When I have something I want to say I post here, and when people who care about what I post want to read what I post they come here and they read it. Truth be told, I typically delete such useless drivel right away as blog spam. First, I don’t like being threatened. And that’s sad.

In 2008, I found Ravelry. The people who make the yarn and the patterns are also members, and they can communicate with the folks who do their work and see and comment on their progress. I much prefer taking other people’s ideas and layouts and making them “real.” I know, it’s strange.
