Lame spam of the day: FBI & Nigerian Govt want to send me money

Robert Weiner

This one's pretty funny. It claims to come from the "Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Counter-terrorism Division and Cyber Crime Division". The letter begins "Series of meetings have been held over the past 7 months with the secretary general of the United Nations Organization. This ended 3 days ago. It is obvious that you have not received your fund which is to the tune of $850,000.00 due to past corrupt Governmental Officials.

Lame spam of the day: Notice from WesternUnion) : Account Deactivate.

Robert Weiner

This one is kind of funny. First, there's what looks like a reversed smiley face in the subject (maybe it was supposed to be a copyright symbol). Then there's the tortured grammar in the first sentence. The friendly footer looks like it might be from a real Western Union message, inviting me to send comments. But the very last line says not to reply to the email, even though the reply address is the one I've just been invited to write to. =.
